In addition to his duties as the ITA Executive Director, Matt Horton is currently a business owner in Norman, Oklahoma, and provides audio recording & mastering services. He also served as president and coowner of a successful incorporated CD/DVD manufacturing company from 2000 to 2008. Matt holds a BMA in trombone from the University of Oklahoma and is still active playing. He is currently coprincipal trombone with the Oklahoma Community Orchestra, and is also a member of the famous University of Oklahoma Trombone Choir under the direction of Dr. Irvin L. Wagner. Matt has also performed on trombone for the Pollard Theatre in Guthrie, Oklahoma and was a member of the Taipei Wind Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Hsu in Taiwan in 2007. Matt enjoys serving the community, supporting fine arts, and enjoys traveling in Asia.
