Assist an International Member (AIM)

ITA is fortunate to have over 4,000 members from 69 countries across the globe, however there are few members from the world's poorest countries and many more who have been unable to renew their membership because of cost. One of the strategies that formed part of the recent Diversity Committee report was to remove financial barriers as a reason for people not to join ITA or attend the ITF. Therefore, ITA has relaunched its Assist an International Member program (AIM) and we need your help.

Just $35 a year enables a fellow trombonist to receive a full ITA membership. We are already in touch with over 200 active trombonists in these countries and are rapidly developing more contacts to expand the list of potential members.

A sponsorship can be for a specific person, or be a general donation which allows ITA to assign a recipient to you.

Concurrent with this request, we are working to make our list of individuals in need of a sponsor longer! If you know anybody eligible please send names and complete mailing addresses to ITA's AIM Membership Coordinator, Marta Hofacre, at aim@trombone.net.
